This is a picture of me waking up my turtle. (I just turn on his light.) I chose this photo because I like my turtle and its kind of fun to wake him up every day. In my Evanston
In my Evanston morning, my sleep shatters for the day to begin. So good dreams gone. Time to get ready. The bus takes me to Chute, the next part of my Evanston. Media arts to Lunch to Advisory. 7 hours of learning. I get home at 4. It’s a Friday night. I’m home free. I sometimes talk to my fish. I like to talk to my cactus, Alfred too. Then its time for Turtle Time. I run up to Shelly Belly/Smiley. He’s a boy and he’s “half-pig” because he eats so many worms. I play with my dog, Peanut. She likes squeaky toys. Tug-of-war is her favorite. My dad comes and asks me if I want to come to pick up my brother, Zack. (He prefers Dr.Zoozack.) This is time for some quiet drawing time so no. I quietly get my brain juices flowing. Drawing is one of my favorite pass-times. Snow falls and I do not dare go in the world of cold, ice crystals, and dread. Game time. We play chess. Then its Saturday. I sometimes go to Walker Park. I also can visit The Evanston Public Library. I have played chess there before. We occasionally stop for lunch or dinner at Steak ń Shake. Killer grilled cheese sandwiches. I have band at chute on Monday and Wednesday. Monday and Thursday are chess lessons. Then, the cycle starts over waiting for Friday. It's not perfect but it's my Evanston. |
