Students are so excited to use our new large green screen and lighting equipment to produce amazing green screen videos! 6th graders are using the green screen to make stop motion movies using apps such as DoInk's Green Screen app. 7th graders filmed artist statements about their portraits in front of the green screen and used Final Cut video editing software to place themselves in front of their photo portraits while describing them. 7th graders also used the studio lighting and DSLR camera to take photos for their Photoshop portraits. Some of the 8th grade Advanced Media Arts students are also using the green screen to create their six word story videos, in conjunction with the Inside Out Project. We can't wait to see their finished creations! See students working below! Special thanks to Mrs. Kushner's 1st period class for assembling the green screen and lighting equipment! They displayed great teamwork as a class and quick problem solving skills to put everything together in one class period!
